By the terms of this agreement, the rights granted in this license may not be transferred or delegated by you without the prior written approval of Renderforest.

You agree that Renderforest reserves all legal rights to the SDK, including any related Intellectual Property Rights under patent law, copyright law, trade secret law, trademark law, and any other proprietary rights.

The License Agreement will not grant you any rights to use Renderforest’s trade names, trademarks, logos, domain names, or other distinctive brand features.

Renderforest may terminate the license agreement with you at any time when it is required by law or if you:

The Usage of Renderforest SDK

Your Responsibilities

You acknowledge that your use of the Renderforest SDK is at your own risk and discretion and you are solely responsible for any damage to your devices or loss of data that results from or in connection with such use. In no event shall Renderforest be liable for any consequences resulted from using the software.

Modification of SDK

You are allowed but not recommended to modify the SDK source code, as Renderforest owns rights to update the source code at any time without prior notice. Such changes may be incompatible with applications developed on previous versions of SDK and Renderforest may not be held responsible if any malfunctions occur in your developed applications.

API Keys

Renderforest provides API keys for Enterprise packages (or upon user request, prior to buying a subscription plan) to generate an access token from a user’s profile page at Renderforest website. Please note that you are responsible for the security of the key. Renderforest may not be liable for any consequences that may result in case you lose the key or provide it to any third party.

Intellectual Property

Renderforest API provides information on Renderforest templates which includes title, description, display video, and thumbnail. Please note that this information is copyrighted and you may not use it. If you want to list any of Renderforest templates on your website, you should create your own unique title, description, thumbnail and preview video. You will also have access to Renderforest’s Sounds Library. Please note, that featured sounds are also copyrighted and can only be used in integration with Renderforest templates. You may not download and use these sounds for any other purposes.

Abuse and Rate Limiting

You may not use SDK functions in ways that may harm Renderforest platform. SDK provides HTTP headers for rate limiting (refer developers documentation at https://developers.renderforest.com), and you should implement a mechanism to reflect that limits into your code, in order to avoid rate-limit overuse. Otherwise, Renderforest owns the right to terminate the license with you or ban or block you for being abusive.

Credit System

As a Renderforest API user, you are given a certain amount of video credits based on the subscription plan you choose.

The amount of credits you due to pay per video is determined by the length and the quality of the video. 5 minutes = 1 video credit. 6 minutes = 2 video credits. You may also pay a separate invoice and increase your rendering credits as much as you want according to your specific credit pricing.

The payment is processed through the refilling credits section of the payment page.

The video credits accumulated from last months are refundable, so unused credits from previous months will be automatically transferred to the next month.

Note that all the accumulated credits from past months will be annulated in case you suspend your active subscription.

Updates on SDK and License Agreement

Renderforest SDK will be publicly available on the Renderforest SDK page. Please, always keep the latest version of Renderforest SDK to be sure you are using the updated and improved version of features of Renderforest SDK.

In case of any changes into the Renderforest SDK, Renderforest will correspondingly change this License Agreement. The latest version of Renderforest SDK License Agreement will always be available on this page. You are encouraged to continuously check this page to stay updated.

If any provision will legitimately be removed from the License Agreement, the rest of the provisions stated in this License Agreement will continue to be enforceable.
